Don't forget, double coupons up to .99 cent at KMart this week.  You coupon for .99 is now worth $1.98!  WOW!  Might be worth the trip to Henderson!  With savings this big, you can really rack up.  It applies to grocery items only.  Limit of like items per purchase.  Sale ends this Sunday.

Take a break from the summer heat and cure the "I'm-so-bored" blues at the same time.  Shoeplace and Showtime Cinemas is offering special showings of kid's movies for only $1 per person.  As an added bonus, you can say "yes" to the normally uber-expensive movie snacks with their $2.50 Kiddie Coke & Popcorn special.

This week's movie is "How to Train Your Dragon".   Next week "Megamind" will be showing (which really is an amusing flick).  Shows run at the East location on Tuesday mornings, in Newburgh, Connersville, Henderson, and Princeton on Wednesdays, and at the North location on Thursdays.  All films start at 9:30 a.m.

Target is having a great Black Friday in July sale today only.  Some of the featured offers are:

Magazines.com is by far the best place to buy magazines.  If you sign up to receive their emails, they will often send you $5 GIFT CARDS (not coupons) that can be used in addition to the $5 coupons the generally offer.  If you haven't signed up yet, email me and I can send you a $5 gift card to use today.

Today only, Ebates.com (one of my top three favorite cash back sites) is offering 51% cash back on magazines.  If you use the coupon "DADSDAY" at checkout for $5 off over 200 select magazines, plus the $5 gift card emailed to you, you can get certain magazines for free!  Others, like Popular Science or Woman's Day that are on sale for $9.97 or less with coupon, minus your gift card, minus your cash back, will end up costing only $2.49 for a year or less!

Follow the directions here for the best deals on magazines:
*First, go to Ebates.com.
*Second, click on Magazines.com on link on right or type in the search box at the top.
*Be sure to enter your coupon "DADSDAY" and hit APPLY at checkout.
*Be sure to enter any gift cards.
*Voila!  You are a smart shopper!

I forgot, after you finish placing your order, they will offer you a full year of Rolling Stone for $1.  You can sell it for

CVS is a super great deal.  Tomorrow only, you can pick up a 12-pack of cans of Pepsi or Diet Pepsi for only .99 cents!  How great is that?  Just scan your CVS card at the coupon kiosk for a printable coupon.  Only one per

Some cities have double, or even triple coupons all the time.  Not in Evansville.  When the offer does come along, I like to jump on it!  This week (June 6 to June 12), Buehler's stores are offering to double coupons up to .50 cents.  If your coupon is for .50, they will make it worth $1.00.  If it is worth .75 cents, they will make it worth $1.25.  (They double the first fifty cents only, then apply the remainder.)

It really is a great time to stock up on essentials.  For example, Cheerios are on sale for $2.00 a box.  Use a .60 cent coupon, they double it to $1.10, and the box only costs you .90 cents.  Not bad.  I haven't had a chance to see if there are any amazing buys, but if I find them,

There are numerous "members-only" sites for designer clothing at discount prices.  (Of course, to become a member all you have to do is sign up.  Not quite as exclusive as they make it seem!)  I've watched and purchased from many of them, but my favorite by far is idelli.com.  They consistently have the most stylish merchandise at the best prices.

Once every two months or so, they have a "Red Sale".  It only lasts for one day, and there is a very limited quantity.  However, the deals are AMAZING.   Check out a few of the thousand or so deals with pictures on my "National Deals" page.  Remember, they have these deals going on right now, today only

I anxiously wait each year for the WNIN Action Auction to come around.  For two weekends a year, my family patiently tolerates my addiction to deals while I sit glued to the TV, frantically calling in my bids to try to grab a bargain.  (Of course, it's the least my husband can do considering the 160-some-odd baseball games I sit through each season.)

You really should check it out.  It's easy, fun, and addictive.   There are some super buys.  Some of the favorites are:  Season passes to Holiday World starting at $28, and two day passes for only $15, tons of gift certificates starting at 80% off, Cardinal tickets, $12K Chinese Rugs.  You could even bid to be a Meteorologist, Deputy Sheriff, or Ghosthunter for a day.  There are literally thousands of items.  Some you have all auction to bid, some just that night, and some only 2 minutes!

It runs from now until the 9th, and again April 12th - 16th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  I would think your donation/bid is tax deductible.  (Double woo hoo!)  You can check out the goods anytime or stream it live at WNINActionAuction.org.  Good luck!

Every once in a while Groupon has a smashing national deal.  Today, they have a limited supply of $7 for $15 worth of ebay cash.  If you can't find something you need or want on ebay, well, I'd be shocked.  Anyway, today only, and they only have so many to go around.  A few minutes ago , there were 270,000+ sold.  Not sure what the limit is, but I wouldn't wait too long.  One per person.  Follow this link...to Groupon.com.
